Henri Matisse inspired artwork - The Great Fire of London

15/10/2021

The children learnt all about Henri Matisse and his artwork. Over the last few weeks, they then made a piece of artwork based on The Great Fire of London in the style of Henri Matisse. They did not draw any of their shapes and cut them instead, just like Matisse, and then composed where the shapes would go. In the last week, they continued to experiment and rearrange the shapes to complete their final composition. They then stuck their shapes down. Some fabulous work, well done, Miss Duong.
